Looking Cool for Back to School

i'm so nervy/excited about going back to school, but "window shopping" for school supplies on paper pastries and poketo makes me feel like i might stand a chance of eating lunch at the cool kids table.

while perusing the internet, i stumbled upon this museum. the food museum, to be precise. the perfect idea for a recession friendly date and chock-full of delicious facts and olde time photos.

going to try to start this back up again.

chicago may be the second city, but for the 4th it really felt like small town america. i dig it.

maybe i'm just missing delicious bbq (aww fette sau) or home or both... whatever it is, this looks AMAZING to me. and i love the idea of complete meals in one container. get ready for picnics by the lake this summer, just have to find a pulled pork guy in chicago.....
